PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Great Bend Police Department is seeking bids on repairing storm damage to the interior of the Training building located at the Expo area at the Airport. Work includes replacement of damaged, moldy sheetrock and carpet and installing a commercial wanes coating and painting. The Great Bend Police Department will supply materials. Bid forms and specifications can be picked up at the Police Department by contacting Chief Dean Akings.

PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE, under the authority of Resolution 1996-15, passed by the Board of County Commissioners of Barton County, Kansas, on the 3rd day of June, 1996, the sale of fireworks shall be unlawful for any persons or organizations to sell at retail any type of fireworks, without first securing a permit, from the Barton County Environmental Management Division of Barton County, Kansas. The permit shall be issued upon proper completion, payment of fees and verification by the Barton County Environmental Management Division, or his designee, the Fire Chief of the district in which the fireworks stand is physically located, or his designee, that the applicant is in compliance with all laws and Kansas Administrative Regulation, Chapter 22, Article 6, Fireworks. Permits issued shall be valid from June 27 through July 4 of the year specifically stated on the permit. The fee for such permit shall be based upon square footage as follows:
